A wonderful evening – Ray Cartwright made a small model of a Viking longboat based on the ship’s crest which was presented to the Princess, Norman Fisher manufactured a table top from highly varnished marine ply to enable us all to eat at the one table, Sonny West was up to his usual high standard with the food. I think Peter Prowse was the Second Steward who maintained order.
