A vague recollection: the 2/O may have been Mike Burley and Mrs. Burley was 'Liz'.
Also, I think I incorrectly dated my Pic: "RFA Hebe, Gan 1976." (pid=5298).

Should have been 1975.
I found a 1976 diary which has no mention of Gan, so I think we visited Gan and Diego Garcia sometime between October and November 1975 and the pictures went for processing in 1976.

Thanks for that, I was unsure of the year as I was on Hebe from Sept 75 to Apr 76. A great trip from Chatham - Med -Suez - Oman- towing Cherryleaf to Bombay- Gan- Diego Garcia - Singapore - Mauritius-Suez- Malta. Fond memories.
