Joined RFA Regent as assistant purser, July 1978, Smiths dock North Shields, promoted Purser, 1984 RFA Gold Rover, promoted First Officer (Supply) 1993, Sir Tristram. Served onboard RFA Fort Austin during Falklands conflict 1982.T/A Chief Officer (LS), Fort Austin 2008.. Last ship RFA Lyme Bay, retired August 2014. Many happy memories and missing some good friends. |
