Biography/Remarks RFA Sparks for almost 30 years. Served with Kirkcudbright Lifeboat from schooldays and during leavetime from deep sea until I stood down in 1989.Lifeboat Hon Sec/Ops Mgr 1995 to 2005. Harbourmaster at Kirkcudbright 2000-2006 then part time until 30 Sep 2011. Chairman Kirkcudbright Branch RNLI until May 2018. Stood down then after some 60 years involvement with our local lifeboat. Became a crew member on my 17th birthday on 21 May 1958.
