|
Served my apprenticeship with the RFA at Newport ,Glasgow and sea time in Retainer and Tidepool.Passed Second class certificate, Served on turbine ships to the rank of third engineer,couldn't stand diesels after my first trip on Retainer, with a short spell as acting second engineer. Left the service because of a family illness, but would have loved to have stayed on.
