An ANON comment received by RFANostalgia... "A tale about Fred and John - It was New Years Eve / Day 1964... they went to a pyjama party at the officers club, missed last boat, borrowed a dingy from Red House, were capsized on the way to the anchorage by the police and arrested as Indonesian spies!! The Local MoD police were shouting at them "what's you name" ... John Boyd standing to attention kept shouting back "what's your name SIR?" (How two well oiled engineers wearing pyjamas could be confused for Indonesian spies does make you wonder!)"
