Thanks for a great picture Rab. Those four officers' faces just the same as when I joined the ship 02 April 1974. I'd forgotten that Andy was quite so hairy!!

I remember a huge Chinese dinner in the Chief's cabin. The other cadet (Alan Paul) and I were sent ashore with a shopping list and a wad of cash, and handed the goodies to the Fireman's cook. I don't recall the Chief cooking(?)

Aye Mike and Geraldine. Norman was a bit of a star. There were quite a few on the Chief. Great days. Trust you are both well.
