I sailed with Derek in Sir Lancelot in 1976 when every time we changed engine revs during the night Derek wanted me to telephone him to tell him we hadn't had a machinery failure. Really nice guy but a real bag of nerves. Is that Paul Farrow 2nd from the left in the back row?

Bottom row. Fridge Engineer Andy Stirling in middle. Sadly deceased a few years ago.
